Marte Mapu is a Linebacker for the Houston Texans(from the trade). He played college football for Sacramento State being named the Big Sky Conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. Mapu was then selected by the New England Patriots in the 3rd round (pick 76) of the 2023 NFL draft. He got his first career interception in week 15 of the 2023 season. In 2024 he was on injured reserve and in 2025, Mapu had 25 total tackles, one forced fumble, and had one interception.
