My thoughts for each teams involvement in the trade: LV: The Raiders had dealt with Green Bay last offseason trading for star WR Davante Adams in hopes to give Derek Carr a weapon. With the Raiders having a solid defense I just don't think Carr is the guy to get them to the postseason. Making another deal with GB, the Raiders reunite former MVP Aaron Rodgers with his old teammate Davante Adams. This could truly help the Raiders become an impact with a division that could be competitive. For real this year, Sean Payton will help Russell and the Broncos should do well GB: There isn't a high chance that Rodgers stays in Green Bay. While wearing Namath's 12 in New York would be an honor, He doesn't have as well of a chance to win there as he does in LV in my opinion. The Packers get a haul of picks in return and move onto Jordan Love who has looked good when he has played. CAR: They were kind of thrown into this deal because I didnt see Carr fitting with the Packers. I think that in an abysmal NFC South, Carr could lead the Panthers towards the top of the division if the Panthers would be willing to make some moves in the offseason and the draft.
