Trade Details:

Eagles: 2028 1st, 2027 5th

Patriots: AJ Brown

Patriots Perspective: The Patriots before this trade had no really good 1st option. Their Wide Receiving core before this was Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins, and Demario Douglas. No real great receivers. This move gains them a star veteran wide receiver, this move gains Drake Maye a good first option, and AJ is reuniting with former Mike Russini ( I mean Vrable). The problem is that he has not been really good these past two seasons with him barely cracking 1,000 yards in 2025, and 2024.

Eagles Perspective: This trade was not very surprising at all for the Eagles. From drafting a wide receiver with their first round pick to signing 2 wide receivers in free agency, and all the drama that has come from it. This move gets rid of unneeded drama as well as getting more reps to their other receivers.
