Daniel Jones is the problem with the Giants and might want to move on from Jones. Matt Stafford has winning experience and can help the G-Men that look good outside of the Quarterback position. Stafford has also won a Super Bowl in his first season with a new team (Rams 2021). With a solid pass protecting offensive line, top 10 defense and best rookie non quarterback among other things it seems that this trade would be a big win. If things don't go so smoothly as can seem, Stafford's contract has a potential out after the 2025 season.
The Rams look like a hot mess with injuries and just less talent overall, maybe by trading Stafford who is getting older and older they can recoup some assets and tank for a QB in the 2025 draft class. In return they would receive a 2025 3rd & 4th round pick to get younger and more talented. They would also receive a talented young deep-threat wider receiver in Jalen Hyatt to assist in the pass catching department with Cooper Krupp and Puka Nacua and Azeez Ojulari to help with the pass rush and edge depth.
