Pros:
Exceptional coverage skills
Fluid hips
Strong instincts
Consistently forced incompletions on contested catches
Knack for forcing turnovers
Playmaker
Can shut down short or intermediate range receivers
Good change of direction ability
Good length
Versatile, can do well in both man or zone
Cons:
Undersized
Needs to improve physicality at the line of scrimmage
Needs to be more engaged in run support
Doesn’t have the long speed to cover deep threats
Summary:
Strong is good in coverage and is a ball hawk. However, his size and tackling technique could be a concern. Regardless, he’s still a solid bet to be a good starter.
