Growing up in New Jersey, Ezeiruaku committed to Boston College coming out of high school. He started out in a rotational role as a freshman before jumping into the starting lineup as a sophomore. As a junior, he only got better, and as a senior, he tied Harold Landry for the most sacks in program history, took home ACC DPOY, the Hendricks award, and was an All-American.
