Position: RB
College: Boise State
Height: 5’9
Weight: 215 lb
Background:
Born in Jacksonville and a “military brat” Jeanty primarily spent his childhood in the Hampton Roads area and Italy. In his sophomore year, he moved to Texas. He committed to Boise State, where he started out 2022 splitting carries with George Holani. He continued to share carries with Holani in 2023, but he clearly overtook him as the lead back. In 2024, he exploded, being the Heisman runner up and having one of the greatest seasons ever for a college football player.
Pros:
Elite contact balance
Elite vision
Elite burst and long speed
Natural pass catcher with a wide catch radius
Workhorse ability
Advanced pass protection skills
Runs with exceptional pad level
Game breaker who performs well in the clutch
Cons:
Slightly undersized
Needs to refine route tree a bit more
Heavy usage in college may prompt load management
Ball security can be a liability at times fighting for extra yards in traffic
Summary:
Jeanty is a generational RB prospect. He simply can do anything you want in a RB. It wouldn’t shock me if he became one of the best RBs in the league in year 1.
