Potato's Official NFL Draft PREDICTION

1:1 CHI Caleb Williams QB USC

-Bears will get the best QB in their franchise history

1:2 WAS Drake Maye QB North Carolina(Jayden Daniels after recent rumors)

-I slightly prefer Daniels. But I think Wash is in love with Maye's size and traits long-term over Daniels. Whatever "scheme fit" Daniels has Maye also has.

1:3 NE Jayden Daniels QB LSU (Drake Maye)

-It's unfortunate because like I said I slightly prefer Daniels but whoever lands in NE opposed to Washington is going to have a much tougher time.

1:4 ARI Marvin Harrison Jr. WR Ohio State

-A generational talent at WR. No need to trade down here even if you think Nabers has just as much potential MHJ is too safe of a pick.

TRADE:

-Minnesota: 5th overall, 110th

-LAC: 11th, 23rd

1:5 MIN J.J. McCarthy QB Michigan

-This is why the Vikings traded for an extra FRP. They are not going to take a chance for JJ to fall to them at 11 even if it is likely. They want their guy NOW.

1:6 NYG Malik Nabers WR LSU

-The new OBJ??

1:7 TEN Joe Alt LT Notre Dame

-A generational talent at T? Their biggest need? Best OL coach in the league?? It's too perfect.

1:8 ATL Quinyon Mitchell CB Toledo

-Here comes the spice... People are going to reach. They always do... but who? Imo the first 7 picks are a lock. But let's talk about Mitchell. A lot of people think he's the best CB in the class. He fits Raheem Morris's zone scheme, they need a CB paired with AJ Terrell. I think as the NEW HC they will go with what Morris wants and they should trust him.

1:9 CHI Rome Odunze WR Washington

-Uh oh... watch out. This could be William's number 1 target for the next 8 years! He is TOO DAMN GOOD to pass on! Dallas Tuner is not a scheme fit defensively.

1:10 NYJ Dallas Turner OLB Alabama

-Do not forget who is the HC and GM of the Jets... Jets went out and got Mike Willaims. They got Tyler Smith at LT. They got Rodgers his help. Which is why the Jets can go BPA with the best defensive player in the draft. It's what the Niners and Eagles would do.

1:11 LAC J.C. Latham RT Alabama

-No WR slips so the Chargers go with the safest tackle pick. JC Latham is a true RT who is the most "ready" prospect. As you will see with other Charger picks IMO they are very much win now with Herb, Bosa, and Mack.

1:12 DEN Bo Nix QB Oregon

-Its rumored... Its a reach... its realistic... sorry Denver fans but I think Payton is gonna do it.

1:13 LV Cooper DeJean SLOT Iowa

-Shocking? Weird? Wrong? Yeah welcome to the Raiders. They're scared of Mahomes.

TRADE:

-Bengals: 15th

-Saints: 18th, 80th

1:14 CIN Brock Bowers TE Georgia

-Bengals watch their guy fall. They know Colts want him. Colts will never trade up for them they are easily the most conservative franchise in the league. The Bengals have always been aggressive and want to win now.

1:15 IND Byron Murphy II DT Texas

-Colts robbed settle Murphy II

1:16 SEA Taliese Fuaga G Oregon St.

-Imo Fuaga is a true G. Exactly what the Seahawks need.

1:17 JAX Terrion Arnold CB Alabama

-Some way say Arnold is falling. Which is why the Jags can't pass on it. Though I could see Thomas Jr.

1:18 NO Olumuyiwa Fashanu OT Penn State

-Why would the Saints trade back? Because it is a STACKED OL class. I think they will be targeting either Fashanu or Fautau but even if Fuaga or Latham are here they will prolly be content. It's a genius trade back IMO and it will happen.

TRADE:

-Buffalo: 19th

-LARs: 28th, 2025 SRP

1:19 BUF Brian Thomas Jr. WR LSU

-Bills are patient... they seen Thomas Jr. past the the Saints and the Jags. It's obvious why they need him. It's obvious why the Rams want to trade back. They have no picks.

1:20 PIT Jared Verse EDGE Florida State

-Becuase of the reaches Jared Verse falls. Steelers will likely value him too good to pass on as they always look to stack the defense.

1:21 MIA Jackson Powers-Johnson IOL Oregon

-It's a gaping hole and he's a "generational" C prospect. Phins will be the one to pull the trigger not the Seahawks.

1:22 PHI Amarius Mims RT Georgia

-He's Howie's dream pick. They have the C replacement for Kelce lined up its what they do. Just like they lined up Fletcher Cox's replacement... what about Lane Johnson's. Mims is a athletic freak of a RT who can take over next year

1:23 LAC Adonai Mitchell WR Texas

-Chargers love their big body contested catchers. They get their tackle then they get their WR.

1:24 DAL Troy Fautanu LT Washington

-MUST fill the need at LT and they will. I think it will be Fautanu or Fashanu depending on who will fall.

1:25 GB Nate Wiggins CB Clemson

-We all know the Packers will go CB and IMO Arnold and Mitchell will be gone here leaving either DeJean or Wiggins.

1:26 TB Edgerrin Cooper LB Texas A&M

-TB loves their blitzing LBs. White is gone. Davis is washed. They need the new guy.

1:27 ARI Laiatu Latu EDGE UCLA

-Arguably the best 4-3 Edge in the class falls to the Cards. I think we all think the Cards are ging to get some sort of steal here... as long as they don;t reach they should just go BPA.

1:28 LAR Jer'Zhan Newton DL Illinois

-They have always ran a scheme around Donald's ability to get sacks from the inside. Newton is the best replacement as the best sack getting DT in the class. I think they'll play him as 3-4 Edge in between the NT and OLB.

1:29 DET Kool-Aid McKinstry CB Alabama

-They must sure of the weakest part of their team. THey gave to even as good as Chop is.

1:30 BAL Chop Robinson EDGE Penn State

-Chop is an elite prospect but he falls because their are so many great offensive prospects in the class and he MUST be in a 3-4 scheme to thrive. He's a perfect fit for the Ravens who will want to keep their elite defense intact.

1:31 SF Jordan Morgan G Arizona

-Jordan Morgan played LT in college but I think his lack of arm length makes him a safer G in the class which the 49ers will want to sure up the interior over the outside any way.

1:32 KC Ennis Rakestraw Jr. CB Missouri

-I am so convinced of this pick. Though I would love to have Xavier Worthy too. Rakestraw's strength is the same as Sneed's... physicality. We need guys who can win in press coverage to keep our elite defense.

2:1 CAR Ladd McConkey WR Georgia

2:2 NE Graham Barton IOL Duke

2:3 ARI Braden Fiske DT Florida State

2:4 WAS Patrick Paul OT Houston
