Here I go again ranting about this. The award is a 2 horse race atm, its gonna be Stafford or Maye. JT slowed tremendously, JSN will be an amazing OPOTY. Maye is currently 2nd itl in passing yards, 250 yards behind Dak. This is a lot, but Maye is the only QB in the top 5 passing yard leaders with under 400 throws, Stafford should have more yet he doesn't. And no Dak won't win it either, the NFL likes winning teams and single digit int numbers. Dak has 10. Stafford sits at a mediocre 66.7 cmp percentage. Servicable, sure. Barely top 10 among starters. This isn't me saying Stafford is bad by any means, Maye just has things over him. Maye is doing more with less. Thats not to discredit the patriots though, still a great roster. I expect or at the very least want to see both QBs in the super bowl. People liked to use turnovers against Maye, Stafford now has 7 compared to Mayes 8. Stafford has a good game against arizona, yes. Mayes been doing it all season, but I digress. Stafford has a staggering 35 touchdowns, but he should when he's throwing goal line fades to Davante. Maye also still has a better QBR, not an important stat imho but u can't use it against him. There's not a huge argument for Staff. Like him as a QB, elite but not quite enough. Additionally Maye obviously has the rushing upside, with 319 rushing yards and 2 TDs on the ground, meanwhile Stafford is an absolute statue, with negative 10 rushing yards, bottom 3 itl among players. Name me one stat Maye is even close to bottom 3 in. MayeVP
