Okay, this buzz has been going on since the 2025 season, and it's not hard to see why. AJ Brown is an extremely talented WR unhappy on the team he's on, and he's been unhappy for years. The patriots are the fastest ascending team in football, going from 4-13 to a super bowl appearance in a 1 season span. They have a young superstar QB, a great defense, amazing coaching, but they lack a real WR1. I love the Romeo signing as much as the next guy, but he's a great number 2, not an optimal WR1. Diggs did a great job last year, breaking 1k yards and giving Maye a reliable guy. Now he's out the door, we're looking for a replacement. May I interest you in a 29 year old SB champ, 3 time 2nd team AP, and 3 time pro bowler? We've heard rumors of other teams such as the rams having talks, but they've died down. The patriots talks never did. Of course, I fully expect Philly to hold off until June to half the dead cap they'll have to take on, but after that AJ will be suiting up in blue. The asking price will likely include at least one 1st, but that's a price I'm more than willing to pay. I'd consider anything more than a 1st and a 3rd an overpay, 1st and 2nd is a maybe. Regardless, you heard it here (not that this is an innovative insight lol), AJ will be a Patriot. Feel free to clown me now if you must, I'll remember your name when the headline breaks
