Lions defense is horrid

This was an issue late vs New Orleans and it was an issue in this game. They allowed 27 in the first half and 41 on the night total. Whether it was blown coverages (See Buffalos 2nd TD) or just bad run stopping, they simply couldn't find answers. Out of the Bills 8 total drives (Excluding the end of game kneel down drive), the bills score touchdowns on 6/8 drives, and one of the two drives they punted was only because of a Khalil Shakir drop, not something the Lions forced. This is heavily giving off 2025 Bengals/Cowboys, very talented offense but defense can't keep up.

Offensive pros and cons for Detroit

Although the offense did pick up steam late, they started quite slow, going down 21-0 before their first score. Goff looked shaken at times, no turnovers but took 4 sacks on the night. Gibbs was very limited in the run game, making some great chunk plays but only put up 52 on the ground. He was much better in the receiving department though, putting up 61 yards and a score. Amon Ra has a day too, 142 yards and 2 TDs. They had no chance though as they just got things going too late and had a drive stall halfway through the 4th down 10. It does look like Gibbs might have some help, Sione Vaki only had 1 rush and 1 reception but broke tackles and looked very promising on both.

Josh Allen is MVP until proven otherwise as the Bills offense continues to cruise

Josh Alen has put up a combined 9 touchdowns through the air and ground. Week 1 he did it against a usually terrifying Texans D, Allen made them look silly. This week he put up 248 yards and 3 passing touchdowns, adding 2 additional scores with 69 yards on the ground. Every time he scrambled it seemed like he was picking up a first. It's not just him though, Cook putting up 135 and a score on the ground. Kincaid led the team receiving, putting up 95 yards and a score himself. This Bills team is one of the best in football, and Josh Allen continues to do what elite quarterbacks do.
