Why the Bucks do this: Giannis trade will happen before the draft, so it's clear they want a bigger share of the Draft than just the 10th pick. I think it's a no brainer if you get JJJ, Cody and DP for Giannis. With Giannis leaving, Turner doesn't make sense on that roster anymore, as he was brought in to maximize Giannis' last year (didn't work out) by sacrificing cap space (Lillard W&S). So they use him to trade up and get a young exciting player with obvious flaws. Why the Hawks do this: The defense in the playoffs completely fell apart and a rim protector instead of/next to OO is much needed, and although i would prefer someone like Gobert, the spacing with Gobert, Johnson and Daniels would simply not work at all. Many people are mocking Mara at 8 to the Hawks, but o think he is too much of a project, and if the Hawks try to develop him, they would stay mid for another 3 years. Instead, Milwaukee gets Mara as the center of their future, and the Hawks select Burries at 10 if he's available, a combo guard you can sub in for Daniels if you need floor spacing and quick decision making.
Why the Jazz do this: The Jazz are probably the least expected to agree to this trade, because it's the second pick after all, and you get first overall talent with Peterson. San Antonio declined trading Harper for Giannis last year, and it worked out for them. The only reason they should consider it: No one on this team right now can be a first option in the playoffs. I don't trust JJJ, he couldn't be one in Memphis, Lauri can lead tanking but not winning, Peterson could deffo be one in the future, but not in his rookie year especially with the injury concerns, and Keyonte is too inefficient at times (he is good, but he isn't Brunson, Cade, even J.Murray).
Bucks lineup: Rollins, DP, Kuminga, JJJ, Mara
Hawks lineup: Turner, Johnson, NAW, Daniels, CJ/Burries/OO depending on style of play
Jazz lineup: Keyonte, Ace/KPJ, Lauri, Giannis, Kessler
