Why the mavs do this- let’s say luka requests out of Dallas, this would mean they would start the rebuild. Best team that would be best for this would be the OKC. They have enough draft stash to still have a rebuilding team but have two stars on their roster.

Why the okc do this- we all know that if your team does bad for many years, players want out so if time goes on and a star requests a trade like Luka, they should go for it and pair them with SGA, this way they get two superstars and they also still keep their draft capital in-tact.
