I don't care what anyone says, the Towns/Gobert frontcourt duo just won't work. Towns needs to play the 5. Minnesota's best bet is trading Towns now, before the supermax money hits. Get that cap relief and dump KAT to a star-hungry team like the Knicks.
Wolves: Get Evan Fournier (expiring, just waive him), Davis Bertans (good enough backup PF), & 4 first round picks.
Knicks: Get their third star, and a young backup PF (their current backup PF is Isaiah Roby), only lose 3 picks (they still have a bunch more)
Thunder: Get a starting center, get to play Chet at the less physically-demanding PF position. Dort moves to the bench.
