mavs - mavs i've got a couple things i don't understand. first off mavs what are you thinking, WHY ARE YOU TRADING LUKA his a future hof and is the only good player you've drafted since dirk. i can't believe you traded him because you wanted for defence and his conditioning wasn't to your likey, well at least luka is much more healthy then ad (ik he's been injured a bit this season) ik there's contract stuff about them not wanting to give him the supermax but that's crazy if u expect to win rings without paying star players what there worth. second if you were gonna trade luka SHOP HIM around first, look at the hall the nets got for kd you could have gotten way more for luka, the nets got 5 first for kd and then flipped the players they got in that trade for another 5 first round picks thats 10 first round picks for kd not to mention the nets still have cam johnson from that trade who will probably get traded for 1-2 more first round picks luka being better then kd and only just entering his prime could have gotten 5 6 maybe even 7 firsts with alot of young players, and if they wanted defence theres teams like the jazz spurs heat and others with valablue young players who are great at defending and other all star level players, im sure if you called up the pelicans they would offer dejounte murray, herb jones, jordan hawkins and picks theres defence and young players and you would've gotten a lot of picks to not to mention other teams could offer more, instead they get 1 pick 1 ok young player who's not going to get minutes with the amount of wings on this roster and an aging 31 year old who is very injury prone. thirdly i don't like how dirty they did luka, a player they've drafted, developed and his brought u to many deep playoff runs and an nba finals run just to trade him when his injured, he didn't ask for a trade and you didn't even tell him till after the trade happen, thats just messed up.

lakers - lakers can only win this trade if they do something else before the deadline, they got the best player in the trade and the fact that they got offerd him is surpising, the lakers now have a player they can build around in the future but this all goes out the window if the lakers get get some defence and a center because rn there best center is hayes and there best defender is dorrian smith and a 40 year old lebron. this cant win a nba championship, they need a good defensive center like claxton or walker kessler and maybe another perimiter defender, if they cant do this the lakers threw out any chance to win lebron a ring
