Like the last version, this one has PG13 returning to OKC via sign & trade (on a 2+2 player option for less than the full max, which might be unrealistic). So see that post for more deets but here OKC gets crazier by gutting a bunch of its soon-to-be-expensive depth to upgrade its core rotation pieces by adding George and Avdija, knowing it can replenish much of it in the upcoming drafts. Maybe Kenrich on his affordable 3 year sticks around(I added him as a Clippers sweetener), but Wiggins and Joe are both going to warrant likely 10--maybe 15--mil+ per year extensions this summer, which when paired with maxes or near maxes for Chet & J Dub in a few years, this team gets crazy expensive and impossible for George. They get sent along with Dieng and Giddey to DC, to build the core of this DC rebuild.
Accordingly, besides Kuzma as the main piece back for PG13, Washington send Avdija and Vukcevic to OKC, the latter providing another spacing big man option for OKC that they can optionally extend after this season if he fits in well.
Threw in the Clippers remaining 2nds since their roster is just about full after this move anyhow and the Thunder maybe needed a bit more back with all these players out the door--even if PG13 is the return.
Debated having OKC and the Wiz swap 1sts in exchange for a future OKC pick(OKC have 5? 1sts next year) to make the deal even crazier, but decided against it. Wasn't sure who would win the trade in that scenario. But this would let OKC get a perfect fitting additional big in Sarr/Clingan at 2 and give DC a pick in the 2025 draft (they don't have one rn).
