Pistons: This gives them some depth and just overall tools to work with. PJ will be great help with forward depth, spacing and post defense, Gafford can be the center for the time being. Being of the most efficient centers in the league, Cade will make Gafford look like a big time player. Nnaji and Konchar are filler, maybe Nnaji could get some minutes idk. Svi returns, we all know he's a Pistons legend. With the two lakers picks it could give them more flexibility and comfort towards going after a second star. They also get Peyton Watson I think a Cade, Ausar, Watson, PJ, Gafford lineup is an improvement from last year's lineup.
Nuggets: They aren't going to be able to retain Watson, they get 3 seconds, which gives them flexbility to make small trades, they get off Nnaji's contract, they get Holland, who will help defensively and his a high ceiling still, I believe. They also get cheap bench fillers since they have barely any money left.
Mavs: I think Lauri makes them a bit more competitive, obviously health is important here, but he offers spacing, some post defense, I think he'll pair well next to Coop.
Jazz: I think with Key, DP, and Ace, Duren won't be burdened to shoulder such an offense load, I think he just has to be produtive, be efficient in the post and get rebounds. The Jazz could use a good center that fits their timeline and I think Duren does just that. The Jazz could front load the contract since Keyonte, DP and Ace are still on their rookie deals. Ace needs to be in the starting lineup and Lauri inhibits that. He's also injury prone and doesn't quite move the needle for them to make them contenders and he's on a hefty deal. I'm not saying Duren moves the needle, but they can sign him for a better deal and he fits their needs and timeline better.
