journey of fair trade coffee from farm to cup

I’ve been trying to understand the journey of fair trade coffee from farm to cup. It's interesting how much effort goes into sourcing coffee that is both organic and fair trade certified. But what exactly happens along the way to ensure these coffees are ethically sourced? I'm curious about the steps involved and how much of an impact fair trade practices really have on the farmers and the quality of the coffee. Anyone here have some insight into the process?

The journey of fair trade coffee is quite fascinating, and there are a lot of steps involved. It starts with the farmers growing their coffee beans in specific regions, often in areas that are ideal for high-quality coffee production. These farmers then work with fair trade organizations that ensure they are paid a fair wage, receive proper working conditions, and are able to sustain their farms with environmentally friendly practices.

Once the coffee beans are harvested, they go through a process called "wet milling" where the outer layer of the beans is removed. Then, they’re dried and packed for export. After reaching a coffee roaster, such as the ones that offer Single origin coffee, the beans are carefully roasted to bring out the unique flavors of the region they come from.
