Banton is probably the most intriguing prospect I have ever looked at, which such a unique game. A 6-9 point guard, he's a terrific passer, similar to Ben Simmons of the 76ers or a very poor man's Magic Johnson. Banton also averaged 6 boards a game, which makes him a solid all-around player. And, yes, he is not a shooter, shooting just 25 percent, but he can finish with his smooth floater. That reminds me of Ben Simmons. But what seperates him from a Simmons (LITE LITE LITE) comparison is the fact he has a lot of work to do on defense, with not nearly the quickness as Simmons standing 6-9, 204 lb. However, his length can allow him to guard forwards, and he can really become a nice player if utilized right on a contending team, which now reminds me of Draymond. Clearly one of the most unique guys in the draft.
Projected draft range: 45-undrafted because teams may be interested in the tools he has to offer.
