This man's motor is crazy. He runs hard, and is always fighting for the ball. He does all of the little things that a team can ask for. He makes plays, gets to the rim, and makes some shots. He should be prime real estate in UDFA is he isn't selected.

SLEEPER ALERT

Keon Ellis does it all. He is a terrific catch & shoot player, can provide a ton of spacing. One of the best on ball defenders in the draft and can finish with ease. There are no major wholes. The biggest one(s) are his play making and Shot creation. Play making won’t be as much as an issue though as I don’t see him playing PG.

Celling: Hall of Fame/ Tim Hardaway

Floor: Starter/ Malik Monk

Strengths:

  • Great 3 point shooter with perfect mechanics

  • Very good perimeter defender who is very quick on his feet and stays in front of his man amazing

  • Finds a lot of steals, whether that be picking pockets or reading passing lanes

  • Very league ready, will make impact as a 3 and D guy right away

  • Pretty athletic, super explosive and can actually get up

  • Very good at moving off ball to find catch and shoot 3s

  • Solid finisher

  • Good cutter

Flaws:

  • Pretty old (2000)

  • Has not got much playmaking upside

  • Not great with the ball in his hands, handle is pretty average

  • Fouls a bit too much

  • Super light (167 pounds) needs to put on some weight

  • Weight could limit his upside as a perimeter defender at the next level

Ellis averaged 12pts and 6reb at Alabama this year. The big part that will get him drafted is hes a good defender, long arms, light and quick on feet good smart defender. Has upside to defend good point guards. Hes an excellent spot up shooter, corner specalists. He knows how to finish at the rim. converted on 60percent of attempts at the rim. Good athlete plays above the rim. Some flaws in ellis game is playmaking, needs to improve handle,to careless when passing. Self creation he also struggles at, when getting his own jump shot the shots are completely off. Cant go 1v1.Needs to improve strength, not a great frame and gets bodied becaus eof it.
