THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE 2022 PROSPECTS SECTION

This Bagley, while less talented, may be more conducive to winning basketball. He can shoot really well, with a beautiful form and has some similar athleticism to his brother. His ball handling isn’t there yet, and he really isn’t a playmaker, but his big frame, defensive versatility, and shooting touch should be appealing. Feels like a dude that is gonna very desired in his first free agency

Marcus Bagley - I will say it - to me is the most overrated prospect on draft boards. That is why it should be no surprise imo to put him this low. Yes he was a high ranked HS player and he has good measurements. However, he is on a losing team in the PAC 12 where he seems to struggle to reach 40% shooting. Really? Good thing he has room to improve, as he is a younger prospect.

A boring prospect! The kind of 4 you can play at 3, and probably long term should play at three- but he doesn''t have anything to write home about, but doesn''t really have anything you can knock him for either. He would kind of disappear for Arizona State from time to time, but it was a selfish team that didn''t move the ball around well, and in those times he''d find ways to use his long wingspan and size to defend decently and get rebounds. I''m maybe a little more pessimistic than most on Bagley, but I have a really hard time seeing him than more than a below replacement level starter, the kind of guy you have play 25 minutes for you but are dying to find an upgrade for. Outcomes even lower than that? Wouldn''t surprise me at all.

Marcus Bagley is a young freshman who has star potential written all over him. Marcus Bagley''s brother is Marvin Bagley so he has NBA in his family. He''s just 19 so Bagley still has a lot of room for improvement. 4-5 years from now this kid will be in the All NBA conversation.

Very good athlete, has the frame that I''d rather have at the 4. Has shown some help side rim protection. Shot is a little hard, could use a higher release. Wish he was a better rebounder for his size. Has the athleticism to guard 3 and 4s but must improve discipline and footwork. Limited sample size will hurt his stock. Injury history of his brother will also be held against him
