Robinson is a great shooter for his size, and can be considered a floor stretcher. He is a good rebounder. He’s shown flashes as a stretch, playmaking, five. This makes him super enticing for some scouts including myself. He has become a better shooter each season of his college career. This is especially encouraging, since it shows that he has the mentality to get better. He is extremely versatile and mobile for a center. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if a mid second round team takes a gamble on his unique combination of size, shooting, and versatility.

Comparison: Karl Anthony Towns Lite Lite

Pre-Draft Team Fresno State Bulldogs

Offense

  • Great body control and coordination.

  • Uses his body well to finish and draw fouls inside.

  • Good looking shooting stroke. Optimism he will be a plus spot up C&S perimeter shooter. FT% on a steady increase.

  • Good attacking skills for a big.

  • All around fluidity- will hit turnaround fading middys with convincing athleticism.

  • Playmaking skills have nice upside.

  • Overall pretty much everything you'd want offensively from a 6'11 big, but his athleticism is questionable at this stage.

  • Strong offensive rebounder.

Defense

  • Doesn't impact the defensive end the way you'd think a 7'4 wingspan would.

  • Rebounds well overall.

  • Not a rim protector or even necessarily a deterrent.

He's a Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Kevin Durant hybrid, a leaner Joel Embiid with a splash of Wilt. One of the most skilled players ever, maybe #1. Might be the best center ever.

Big time shooter for such a huge game Defense is good

I think he might be to slow to play the 4 I don't think he can switch out on permiter I am also concern that he is not physcial to finish above the room

Robinson is a big that can score from everywhere. Definition of modern day Big. He isn't the best interior defender or rebounder but he excels at just about everything else.

Strengths: Scoring, playmaking, shooting.

Weaknesses: Rebounding, defending, efficiency.

Orlando Robinson is an interesting center. Played at Frenso state so the first thing that stands out is the compettion hes going agaisnt. Robinson is astretch big that can shoot the ball pretty good. Hes good inside but not great. Hes a good rebounder. Lacks rim protection at times and will strugle to guard quicker players. The Low post game needs improvment espically as he goes up against better defenders.

Additional Assets - "Orlando Robinson" He's a 7FT Center, He is averaging 19.8 PPG in his today's 2021-2022 Career, I have saw his Playmaking Advantages in the court, he is an athletic player even though he is a 7 footer, if you want to get him being tired on the court you would be more tired! as I say he is an athletic player doing layups and dunks. He is not a 3pt Shooter more like Cockburn, and Dickinson.
