Why the Portland Trail Blazers Do It: The Blazers get TJ McConnell, a dependable backup point guard to provide playmaking and defensive ability behind Damian Lillard. His contract fits under the Blazers' hard-cap restrictions. The Blazers also get two second-round picks (2025 and 2027), giving them additional assets to either use for future trades or to continue to develop young talent.

Why the Indiana Pacers Do It: Indiana adds a young, high-upside player in Shaden Sharpe who could develop into a key piece of their rebuild. Sharpe’s athleticism and scoring potential make him an intriguing option for the Pacers to pair with their other young talent. Indiana also moves TJ McConnell and the second-round picks, which they can afford to part with as they focus on developing their younger players and building around Tyrese Haliburton and Benedict Mathurin. Trade Breakdown:

Portland Trail Blazers: Shaden Sharpe (SG, 6'6", $6.6M) Sends Sharpe, a talented scorer with high upside, in exchan…

Would you do this if you were both teams? Pelicans: with hipotetical Flagg playing at the PF I think they would have to move him elsewhere. They get ayton who is a very good center and in a contender coud gain motivation, also they get anfernee instead of CJ, cheaper and younger for their 6th man. They also get some picks depending on what is his value league wise, that is not fixed. Blazers: They get Zion who if healthy is like a top 15 player in the league but very difficult for him being helthy. Also they leave the starting spot for one of toumani or shaedon and CLingan at the C. Pelicans rotation: PG: D. Murray SG: Herb Jones SF: Trey Murphy PF: Cooper Flagg C: Ayton Bench: Simons, Hawkins, Thybulle, Olynik, Missi -Blazers rotation: PG: Scoot SG: Shaedon (or toumani) SF: Avdija PF: Zion C: Clingan Bench: CJ, Banton, Jerami Grant, (tou or shae), RWIII, Jabari Walker Conclusions: Obviusly full hypotetical because if the Pelicans didnt get Cooper Flagg i wouldnt trade Zion. Even tough…

Blazers become a playoff team for the next few years (and reunite with veteran fan favs). Magic get some offense with Simons. Bulls and Blazers finalize their trade (Blazers owe bulls a non lottery FRP). Pelicans move Zion for picks, a young player, and salary filler. Lakers get a center Which team says no?…

Wizards got completely fleeced by Joe Cronin and the Blazers. Giving up Brogdon's contract, Bub Carrington, and a 1st for Avdija has been not only one of the best trades the Blazers have done in years, but one of the best in the NBA this season. He's giving you 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal per game on 47% shooting from the field and 36% shooting from 3. He dropped 36 points, 8 boards, 7 assists, and 3 steals on the Nuggets yesterday, and yes, the Nuggets were without Jokic, but it doesn't matter, ya'll beat them by 19. Rip City have themselves a diamond for the future…

Blazers Lineup:

Scoot Henderson Shaedon Sharpe Toumani Camara Deni Avdija Bam Adebayo

Dalano Banton KCP Jerami Grant Robert Williams III Donovan Clingan

Makes Portland a amazing young team… much reminiscent of the rockets, probably a playoff team and amazing at defense whilst giving Scoot, Sharpe and Deni there shine when it comes to scoring. Also Bam is just a good dude, interacted with him at summer league when he was signing and he told me whilst I had my portland jersey on that I was wearing the wrong jersey. If this happened that wouldn't be the case lol…

Dame returns to Portland on a team that has some of the pieces he could do something with. The Bucks pickup a few players who are of some help to them in the short term, and reclaim the swaps they traded away to get him. They're getting less value than they gave up for him, as he's 2 years older and just suffered a season ending injury….

Utah Jazz : Robert Williams III: A strong defensive presence in the paint, he adds value to a team that could benefit from more rim protection and rebounding. The Jazz would be improving their defense, which is a need for them. Jordan Clarkson: While Clarkson is a great scorer, Utah might be better suited to bolster their defense, especially if they are building around young talent. Trading Clarkson for a more defensive-oriented player like Robert Williams aligns with a team-building strategy focused on long-term development.

Portland Trail Blazers : Jordan Clarkson: Clarkson provides scoring and shot creation, two things that Portland could use, especially if they have a roster that's lacking in consistent offensive punch. While they lose a defensive-minded player in Robert Williams, adding Clarkson's offensive capabilities could balance their scoring load, especially if they have other defensive assets to cover for Williams’ absence. Potential Concerns: Portland's Defense: Losing Ro…

Blazers searching for a star player which with the Blazer luck they wont receive in any draft 1.Trade: Trae Young to Portland for Jerami Grant and Scoot Henderson Hawks: might be looking for a rebuild which is why the receive instead of Picks a great Prospect in Scoot Henderson who is from the Atlanta area and can be essential in a rebuild + vet and salary filer in jerami Grant Trailblazer:lack of shooting beeing compensated through Trae Young which is why he might fit Plus avdija, camara trae could become a good trio (mybe sharpe or clingan if they make the next step)

Trade: Joel Embied, Mc Cane for Anf Simons and Ayton 76ers: give the team to Maxee for the future where simons and ayton might fight in very well to this time. getting out of the Joel Embied contract and receiving a potential top 10 draft pick Trailblazer: Embied would be a what if trade where you in some way gamble of getting the good embied and hopefully less injured prone. Nonetheless this is a huge risk. Jared Mc Ca…
