PORTLAND Gets off of Jerami Grant and takes on a giant expiring deal which will open up lots of cap space to sign Shaedon Sharpe to a nice contract extension. Also get a young big athletic forward for their troubles of taking on Ben Simmons contract. Ben Simmons might benefit from being in Portland because its a small market and maybe now he can focus on basketball more. Noah Clowney is young and pretty raw but Portland has a very young and competitive battle for the SF and PF spot on the team which would accelerate him to play to exceed more. The Warriors 2026 pick will be very good because Draymond and Klay will basically be retired and Steph and Jerami will be decent but the Warriors wont be a playoff team and the pick COULD fall into the lottery. The 76ers pick in 2027 is also very interesting because at this point Embiid will probably be gone by then and the 76ers literally dont have anything right now besides Maxey and Embiid.

WARRIORS If they want to go win they need to make winning moves NOW. Grant is a big upgrade over Wiggins and Moody is just getting overperformed by other guys at this point. Its pretty expensive but their core is aging and if they want to win then they need to sacrifice.

NETS Really want Claxton back so opening up cap space to sign him will be a big priority and adding a good 3/D wing and a young guard and 2 2nd round picks would really improve the roster. Ben Simmons has just been stealing money from the Nets so getting him off the team will be very easy for them and difficult for other teams so they will basically be needing to pay to get him off the team. Noah Clowney is young and good but their forward spot is jammed at the moment and the offer may be too much to pass up on. The Nets already have 3 or 4 picks in the 2027 NBA Draft so getting rid of a top 8 protected one shouldnt be too much of a deal.
