This one works perfect from a finance standpoint. I think convincing Miami to part with Bam is the hardest part (crazy how low Dame's value now is with that stupid contract extension). I think Miami wouldn't have to include picks because of Bam heading to Portland. The Blazers would not keep Lowry around, he is just here for the contracts to match.
Simons + Sharpe + Bam is a crazy tantalizing young core to build around for Rip City. Then we tank hard to get a better draft pick this year as well. Trade every other vet (Grant, Hart, GPII) for any picks you can. Dame's window is over here in Portland. There are not any trades that exist to put this team into contention without completely gutting an already paper thin roster. Time to move on Blazer fans. Dame got his scoring title. We can build him a statue. Rebuild time.
