We can leverage that, get a young, versatile Center in Wendell, a solid 6th man scoring guard off the bench in Cole, and a young talent to develop in Houstan. Portland may have to include #23 with this deal, going to ORL. Then, we send Simons to Toronto, they get an elite scoring guard to play off of Scottie Barnes, in addition to #11, which will allow them to draft a solid young guy - potentially Coulibaly to replace OG. Portland retains a top 10 pick (Jarace Walker/Ausar Thompson?), ability to re-sign Jerami Grant, and now has some depth, and a vet on the bench in Thad Young. This type of outcome for me, is a great scenario - without breaking the bank completely. This would be enough to intrigue Dame, make us competitive, and also a stepping stone w/ flexibility for future moves.
