So, this proposal is called "the Trailblazers keep the #3 pick" because I couldn't find a viable route to the talent they need in a deal including the pick.

This trade is based on the following Athletic article: https://theathletic.com/4533971/2023/05/19/lakers-nuggets-lebron-james-anthony-davis-jamal-murray/. The King is getting too old, and may retire before the start of the 23-24 season. What do the Lakers do with Anthony Davis if they can't find him help? Or, maybe it's time to move on.

Now, this proposal is just a conversation starter. What would you do to change it/make it better? I believe it would be wise for the Trailblazers to sign Dillon Brooks despite keeping the #3 pick. Scoot Henderson can play reserve point to Damian Lillard or Brandon Miller can play reserve to Dillon Brooks. Maybe Miller could start, but Miller + Sharpe on the starting five is a lot of youth for a team that's supposed to contend.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?
