This trade does work post July first which is the new league year it makes sense for both sides blazers get Giannis and portis which elevated their floor yes they give up scoot and sharpe which may seem like a lot but in this case they don’t have to give up as many of their own future first round picks (just 27 1st) so they could use those to potentially get another star or just build depth in future drafts for the bucks it would be very hard to turn down getting all three of their future picks back aswell as two young guards sharpe and scoot which have very high ceilings and would have their young guards of the future along with standout young guard Ryan Rollins
