Since the Rockets aren’t willing to offer Sengun the max and the Pels aren’t willing to offer Ingram the max this works for everyone

Pels just got a steal in getting Dejounte and now having a starting 5 of Dejounte, CJ, Herb, Zion, Ayton is actually really good. Ayton adds size and rebounding to this team and is still young ish. They aren’t willing to offer Ingram the max and therefor his value probably isn’t that high

Rockets ALSO aren’t willing to offer Sengun the max and are going after a star wing. Ingram fits that perfectly. He’s only 26 and is an amazing scorer who has an incredible fit next to Amen, Jabari, Reed. Yes Ingram will need to get paid next season but so will Sengun

Portland this is just a no brainer. Sengun is only going to be 22 in about 3 weeks, he’s literally a mini Jokic and even though they just drafted Clingan I could see them fitting together. Sengun has the ability to develop a 3 pointer but is also needed to be guarded tightly because of his playmaking ability. On the defensive end, Clingan is the stopper. They can also just be alternated where Sengun plays 33 minutes a night and Clingan plays 26 minutes a night so they play a total of 11 minutes together which isn’t much
