Picks and edge players/finances may shake out a bit different but the core idea is Barnes + FVV for Dame for the money to work. Also POR would not keep FVV so maybe it is a 3-team deal. POR trades him in the offseason, otherwise. I think TOR has shown they will take big swings (Kawhi) to chase a ring. I think adding Dame to that group without giving up Siakam or Anunoby would be huge. Those are the prototypical players to pair with Dame. I also don't think TOR would have to throw in that many FRPs because they are giving up Barnes.

Then POR gets to rebuild (as a Blazer fan, this is what is desperately needed). We get to build around Simons, Sharpe, and Barnes. We also have a young promising group of role players in Keon, Walker, and Watford. POR has not full rebuilt in years. It is time. Dame's window here is closed. He got his scoring title. Now he can leave and we can erect the statue. I am ready for a new era of Blazer basketball. We need to follow the OKC/Utah blueprint.
