Look, as a Trailblazer fan, I am not a fan of trading Damian. Lillard is recruiting, and I am confident that he and GM Joe Cronin will find a solution. However, if they can't find a deal, I don't want Dame wasting his prime in Portland. Also, if Portland does trade Dame, I do not want him going to a small market. I think Brooklyn is a good fit.

Now, I am not certain that all of these moves will work. I appreciate your constructive criticism. This trade is partially based on a proposal made earlier this spring, but I didn't like it, and a bunch of others agreed with me. I think this trade, at least so far, makes sensible improvements.

As such, the Trailblazers roster would be as follows in 2023-24:

G: Simmons/Simmons G: Sharpe/Thybulle F: Grant/Brooks F: Issac C: Day'Ron Sharpe

G: Simmons/Simmons G: Thybulle/Sharpe F: Brooks/Grant F: Eubanks C: Bol
