First off, these trades would most likely occur in seperate deals rather than an all in one package. The Blazers have made it clear that they would like to give it another go with Dame as they continue to retool the roster around him. The first move in this direction would be with the bulls. Bulls receive: Pick #23 via NYK Blazers receive: Rights to own future picks through 2028

Reasoning: It may seem as though the bulls are giving up this years lottery pick of the blazers however this is simply an issue with fanspo, the bulls don’t have the rights to said pick. The bulls seem to want to go all in with Derozan, Lavine and Vuc in hopes of a fully healthy roster, and a 1st rnd pick in this years draft would be a solid trade piece if they choose to make some moves. The blazers on the other hand look to get the right to trade their future picks to allow for a big deal involving picks to happen.

The next deal would involve the Nets who seem to be on their way out of the playoffs. This team although very well equipped with great role players, Mikal Bridges may not be the answer to lead this young team into the future due to his difference in age to the youth and solid at best playmaking. Moreover, the nets certainly will look to move away from the drama that is Ben Simmons and his contract

Nets: Jusuf Nurkic Anfernee Simons Nassir Little ‘25 frp via POR ‘27 frp top 5 protected via POR ‘23 frp via POR

Blazers: Ben Simmons Mikal Bridges ‘23 frp via PHX ‘23 frp via BRK

Reasoning: Moving off Ben Simmons contract could do wonders for the nets in a potential search of a new star to lead the team, furthermore acquiring a lottery pick in this draft is immensely valuable not to mention 2 additional firsts which could have value in Dame’s twilight years. On the other hand, the blazers take on Ben Simmons as a project to possibly help him return to previous form as well as a 2 way star to help alongside Dame.

The next deal would take place between a long rumored trade partner of the Blazers, the Toronto Raptors. With a hugely disappointing season the raptors are expected to make significant changes this off-season, these changes make include a youth movement in which mainstays like Siakam, FVV and OG are moved. Masai is surely going to be disappointed by the market for OG as his flight risk seems large with a looming player option hanging o er any partners head.

Raptors: Justise Winslow (s&t) Cam Reddish (s&t) Keon Johnson Pick #21 via PHX Pick #22 via BRK

Blazers: OG Anunoby

Reasoning: If the raptors look to rebuild, two low 20’s picks in this years draft would be a solid start. As oppose to offers other teams might pose such as an offer including future picks from a contender like the Grizzlies, this deal seems quite sweet. This draft would add two players to the raptors young core as well adding a vet presence in Winslow and fliers on young guys in Reddish and Johnson. The blazers would do this deal in order to add the two way wing in which they’ve been rumored to have been pursuing since the last draft.

The final deal would bring former blazer, Zach Collins, back home. In his year with San Antonio, Zach Collins has seemingly become the exact player the Blazers had wished for when they first saw him play. If Zach Collins were to stay on the court, he could be a great bench or starter for years to come.

Spurs: ‘29 frp Lottery Protected via POR ‘25 srp via ATL ‘24 srp via CHA or MIN

Reasoning: The Spurs are able to cash in the bet they made on Zach Collins 2 years ago by earning themselves a future first and a pair of seconds. On the other hand the Blazers bring back a guy who can lead a second unit with Shaedon Sharpe in Zach Collins. (The blazers may need to employ the new CBA rule involving the MLE as a TPE in order for this trade to work, possibly ruling out the possibility of a signing of another player)

Projected Starting 5s and 6th man

BRK: Anfernee Simons Joe Harris Cam Johnson DFS Nic Claxton 6th: Cam Thomas Can Cam Thomas become a sixth man in Jacque Vaughn’s lineup? BRK could look to move Nurk to a desperate team such as the Mavs for additional pieces.

TOR: If the Toronto moves towards a rebuild, their lineup would be very difficult to predict aside from their ROY, Scottie Barnes. Don’t expect the players involved int eg deal to start or even crack the rotation.

Full Blazers Rotation: Lillard Anunoby Bridges Grant Collins Sharpe Watford Thybulle Eubanks? Simmons?

This lineup for the Blazers would certainly be one of the strongest if not the strongest around Dame during his tenure. This 8-9 man rotation would be viable for the playoffs, however, there is certainly room for improvement through free agency, possibly through the use of the MLE or perhaps even additional trades.

I just did this for fun. Let me know what you think!
