Randal is on the second half of his prime and not on in line with Brooklyn’s trajectory. Sharpe is hurt and probably won’t play this season but would be an upgrade for them next year and is on a reasonable contract. Scoot can become their PG of the future if improvement continues but even if he doesn’t he is a solid role player for years to come.

Portland is loaded and deep at this point and is all in with time to get even better.
