Lakers get an explosive 3 level scorer in Zach who would most likely be used an off-ball slasher and shooter, via cutting to the basket and running off screens for C&S opportunities', so far Zach has been shooting 49% on 3.2 C&S 3pa/game, he's had elite C&S efficiency for years, it's just that he rarely got to showcase it. They also get Craig and Bev to add depth & improve their perimeter defense.
We get Duren who should be our C of the future, he's a solid defender on screening actions, as he can both play effective drop coverage and protect the paint, or switch/hedge and stay with guards. But his game as a whole needs more refinement, so we can develop him into what he's supposed to become. Plus Fontecchio who looks like a good shooter, he can be a valuable rotation player in the coming years. Plus a 2030 unprotected 1st, Gabe, and D'Lo for salary, both of whom should immediately, post trade, be in the buyout market.
Pistons get Rui who can be their 4 of the near future. He has good talent but is pretty raw in most areas, he can refine his weaknesses alongside this DET young core now that he has less pressure and isn't playing in a big-market city anymore.
