With Lavine being a negative asset, the option of exchanging him for Hardaway makes sense. He’s on an expiring cheaper deal which gives the Bulls way more flexibility without Lavine’s max contract and also would free up minutes for their younger guards like white and giddey
the Pistons have nothing to lose. They have no large contracts on the pay roll to make adding Lavine harm the owners wallet. They grab a rebuilding bulls team first on top of it, to make things better. If Lavine gets healthy and plays well for the pistons, he’d act as a great second option to Cade and provide scoring and shooting, something the pistons really lacked last year
Bulls bench:
Dosumnu Hardaway Terry Craig Smith
Pistons Starters
Cunningham Lavine Thompson Harris Duren
i kinda rushed the explanation cus none of u dorks are gonna read it anyways. if the deal is bad tell me how to tweak it to make it better instead of yapping
