People don’t typically read these write-ups so I’ll keep it short.

The Nets are here to facilitate the trade. Draft compensation for doing so could easily be changed and has endless possibilities.

The Wolves have expressed interest in getting a guy to pair Ant up with who’s more on his timeline. Their biggest issue against OKC was Ant’s ability to score consistently. DG helps open up the floor for Ant by being a deadly 2nd option who can operate the offense when the ball isn’t in Edwards’ hands. The loss of Naz Reid will be tough to swallow, but the Wolves have plenty of money to go around this offseason and should be able to find a solid replacement.

For the Cavs, this deal is simple. Get below the 2nd apron, resign Jerome, and get a deeper roster that can do more for you come playoffs. The league is changing, the teams that have the most postseason success are the ones with deep rosters. This trade gives the Cavs one of those teams.
