NOTE I don’t foresee Milwaukee blowing things up this offseason, both Dame and Giannis were hurt for the playoffs, but if they do, this is the type of haul I would expect them to get (honestly they may be able to get more). With that said, let’s get to the teams.

Starting with Milwaukee, let’s play devil’s advocate and say Giannis decides he wants to play somewhere else. Maybe Cleveland would do what they did with the Mitchell trade and swoop in from out of no where. DG and JA both reportedly have extremely high value on this offseason’s trade market. They could easily combine the assets they get to go grab a guy like Giannis.

Onto San Antonio, they reportedly want to trade for DG more than they do Trae Young at this point so this trade package makes perfect sense. Maybe they would opt to keep one of picks 4 or 8, but this draft class is pretty weak so they may not. In either case, they have a plethora of picks to choose from.

As far as New Orleans is concerned, they need to address two things this offseason. 1) a play-making point guard to feed Zion the ball. 2) a rim-protecting big man that can share the court on offense with Zion. They’re addressing that second issue here by trading for Allen. He’s played his entire stretch in Cleveland along side Mobley without many issues. I’d expect him and Zion to be just fine. The Pels would be thrilled to turn BI and a few picks into JA. As far as a point guard is concerned, I would expect NO to use their remaining pile of picks to either draft someone or trade for Trae Young.

As far as Miami goes, they’re nearing the end of the Jimmy Butler Era. They could trade for Dame to try and make one last title push. He gives them the scoring that they need to try and break through the weaker Eastern Conference. Losing JJJ defensively hurts (and maybe they would be able to keep him, Dame isn’t as valuable as he was a year ago), but I think it’s worth adding a perennial all-star to their team. Especially considering they’re getting off of two bad contracts (Herro and Robinson).

Lastly, there’s Cleveland. For them, this is a no brainer. Mobley plays substantially better at C, they get more shooting from Robinson and Giannis is one of the best players on the planet. I’d expect them to be the favorites out of the East after this (unrealistic) trade.
