This is the second trade in a series to make on offseason move for every NBA Team.

As we know, the Celtics are under new ownership and are likely to cut costs. More than likely, Kristaps or Holiday will be moved this offseason and in this scenario, it's Holiday. He's been productive on the defensive end this year but he has taken a slight step back offensively. This move makes sense for the long term stability of Celtics basketball.

Celtics Perspective: Cut costs by moving one of your bigger contracts for two contacts around 10M Dollars. Obi fills a need as a bench forward an Nesmith should be the high impact defensive wing they tried to develop Jordan Walsh into. The Celtics also nab an additional first to use in future trades. This move also allows Payton Pritchard to step into a starting role at PG.

Pacers Perspective: The Pacers are looking for someone to complement Haliburton on both ends of the floor in their backcourt and Jrue Holiday does that. An All-Defensive caliber defender who can be effective offensively without the ball in his hands is exactly what the Pacers need. The Pacers also acquire high upside, but oft injured, Zeke Nnaji who should somewhat offset the loss of Obi Toppin if he stays healthy. Tyson is there as a salary filler but should provide decent shooting when called upon

Nuggets Perspective: The Russell Westbrook experiment has largely failed in Denver and it's time to bring in a fresh face to lead their 2nd unit. Mcconnell is a scrappy, defensive minded guard who has no problems getting his hands dirty. He's also a decent playmaker who can knock down shots from behind the arc.
