In this scenario, the Celtics trade Langford, the remainder of the Hayward TPE and 2 second round picks for Tomas Sâtoransky who becomes their starting point guard that could play off the ball and defend so he should fit well with the Jays. They also trade Thompson and picks to the Cavs for Nance Jr. which gives them a good athletic backup 4 that can cut and create passing opportunities for Tatum and it gives the Cavs a good veteran to backup and mentor Jarrett Allen. Finally, they bring back Fournier as their sixth man and scorer off the bench and give reduce a one year deal to give them another shooter and someone who could help youngsters like Nesmith and Pritchard. This would give them a starting 5 if Satoransky, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Williams III and a bench rotation of Pritchard, Fournier, Redick, Nesmith, Nance Jr., and Horford while still having guys like Moses Brown and Jabari Parker. That’s a contender. Who has enough expiring contracts (Horford and Sâtoransky)to possibly sign Beal next offseason.
