Introduction
This is attempt #2 to make a mock and will be a lot more organized and better as I have learned a lot from my first experience of running a mock which didn't go as well as I hoped. This mock will range from the present-day 2021-22 season to the 2029-2030 season.
Trades
You can begin trading when 20 teams are filled, I will notify all of you when this happens. Trading will last for one week, now till January 11th at 10:00 AM EST (Subject to change). Any sort of crazy lopsided deal will be vetoed. Salaries MUST match if the trade brings your team above the salary cap. Also, when you report a trade, make sure the other side replies to that post saying they confirm.
Trading Picks
You can trade picks all the way till 2030.
Hardship 10 day contracts
The hardship 10 day contract players will not be on your roster and are free agents. We won't do an unsigned free agency period as that will take too much time.
Untouchable Players
To maintain some sort of realism, the following players are not allowed to be traded during the 2021-22 season.

The Season
The season will be simmed on BBGM. There will be 3 stoppages during the season. One is a month into the season where I will post the standings and player stat leaders and I'll give you 2 days to make any trades, or ask me about stats, etc. The other stoppage is at the trade deadline which lasts 4 days. Just like stoppage 1, I will post standings, player stat leaders, etc. You can ask me about player stats and all that kinds of stuff during this period. The last stoppage is at the end of the regular season where I will post the final standings and player stat leaders along with the all-stars. To add to the suspense, I won't post the entire playoffs at once. It will be the play in the tournament and first-round which is posted. Then I will post the 2nd round and conference finals, and finally the NBA Finals.

The BBGM ratings are not always accurate, so I went and edited them based on how good the players are currently.
Draft Lottery
BBGM has a draft lottery which will be simmed on there.
Draft Trades
There will be a one day span after the draft lottery and before the NBA Draft when you can make draft-related trades. You can still make trades unrelated to the draft.
Draft
The offseason begins with the NBA Draft. You only have 6 hours to make a pick. If your time zone is not within 3 hours difference of Eastern Time, let me know so we can find a solution. I will just auto-pick after pick #40.
By 2024 and beyond, there might be randomly generated prospects and players you guys might not know, so for each player, I will give their scouting report and you draft that way.
Free Agency
Free Agency will have 3 waves. Each Wave will last 5 days (subject to change). It will be like a bidding war where if you have the best offer, you get the player, but if there is a tie (max contracts ties are most common), those teams need to make a pitch. The one with the best pitch gets the player.

You can still use pick protections. I will be using this space to keep track since BBGM doesn't have pick protections. Ignore this space as I am just keeping track

Players that started the 2021-22 season injured will be injured for however long they were out for IRL. Also, major injuries that happened earlier in the season IRL will also be on here based on IRL timeline. Injuries are turned off in the game, however, the following players will be injured based on their IRL injuries.
