I find this really interesting... the team who offered this is unknown but the team that makes the most sense would be Milwaukee. They were the 1st seed the year this trade was offered. They just fell short off the finals and we're eliminated in the 1st round vs the 8 seeded Miami Heat. The Bucks had a promising Core of Middleton, Giannis who struggled with injuries and they have Jrue Holiday. Detroit had a lot of salary cap and they could have gotten someone like Grayson Allen or evening a bad contract like Pat Connaughton. Monty Williams thought they could make a playoff push but well they didn't even win 15 games. The Pistons that season then traded him and a solid Alec Burks for just Quentin Grimes and NO FIRST ROUND PICKS!!
