THIS TRADE WILL WORK IN THE OFFSEASON

Why Celtics do this: They have a 30 MILLION and 29 MILLION dollar contracts on this team and both are solid but they are very injury prone. They get Marcus Smart back who is a solid defensive guard who doesn't need the ball every possession. Smart is a great leader and they also get depth with him as he would probably come off the bench. They get Vucevic and Holmes at the center position who is an upgrade over Porzingis who hasn't been reliable due to injury. They also get a upgrade over Queta as the backup with Richaun Holmes. The Celtics help stock their future in Julian Phillips who could get some playing time off the bench.

Celtics Starters: Smart, White, Brown, Tatum, Vucevic

Celtics Depth: Pritchard, Scheierman, Hauser, Horford, Holmes

Why Bulls do this: The Bulls finally get rid of Vucevic and they get a great asset in return. They also get a pick swap even though they give up the better pick they can still get a solid trade piece in th…

Why Rockets do this: The Rockets get an upgrade at the point guard position and they get a solid backup center as a part of the deal. Clarke is a very good defensive center and can get you 10 points per game and would be an upgrade over Jock Landale. Morant is obviously a top 15 player in this league when he is a good boy and would pair amazingly next to Jalen Green and Amen Thompson. In this scenario Houston loses in 5 in the WCF vs the Thunder and are a step away from the finals. In the deal they get a chunky contract in Konchar but he is a great team player, good playmaker, and he is good at rebounding as well. Sure they do have to give up Jabari Smith but they already have guys like Eason, Landale, Clarke (in this case), and Dillon Brooks. Whitmore hasn't gotten much playing time this year and VanFleet they were probably giving up on him soon anyway. This would make this team better than the Thunder IMO.

Why Grizzlies do this: Ja Morant has had a lot of issues off the court as of …

Why Bulls do this: Lonzo Ball has been solid but he never plays as he is very injury prone as of late. The Bulls have been a play-in team the last 3 years and were a first round exit 4 years ago. This team seems very lost as of late and they don't look like they have a certain path they want to continue on. They have solid talent in Giddey, White, Vucevic, and Buzelis. Chicago also has a descent amount of depth such as Collins, Ayo, and now Sheppard in this case. Reed Sheppard was the 3rd pick this last year and didn't get much playing time but when he did play he was solid. Dalen Terry has struggled in his young career and looks like a first round bust. They unload 2 ok contracts and get a pick and Sheppard in return.

Why Rockets do this: The Rockets are the 2nd seed and there path in the playoffs looks tough. They would have to play Memphis or Golden State in the first round which is tough enough and that doesn't include Minnesota, Los Angeles, and OKC who is there biggest threat. V…

Teams who can pursue interest is Golden State, Denver, Miami, and Spurs.

Beal I think would be the best he can be on Denver as him, Murray, and Jokic would be a very solid team if they can get him on a vet minimum….

➡️THIS TRADE WILL WORK IN THE OFFSEASON⬅️

©️Scenario: Giannis and the Bucks get eliminated in 6 vs Indiana and Detroit ends up shocking the world with a playoff series win then Giannis demands a trade this would be the trade.

Why Bucks will do this:

Lillard and Giannis haven't played a single playoff game together and Milwaukee has no future as they don't have any draft capital. Giannis is in his prime and him on the Bucks would be wasting those precious years. In return the Bucks get competitive young guys which can still keep them competitive. They get a upgrade over Rollins in Sasser who can be mentored by Lillard, they get his pair in the back court with Jaden Ivey who is improving over the years and they get a backup in Holland and a starter in Harris. This team will still be a top 7 team. Most importantly they get draft capital that they have a very little supply of.

NEW LINEUP 👀:

PG: Lillard (Sasser is the backup), SG: Jaden Ivey (Trent as backup) SF: Kuzma (Holland as bac…

Why 76ers do this:

Embiid's era with Philly will probably end in a failure as they haven't made it out of the 2nd since his arrival in Philly. Embiid has had durability issues and has also had slower movement the last year or two. Claxton is way better defensively the last year or two than Embiid as he has only been good at keeping his seat on the bench blocked. Claxton is great at rim protection, and is great at rebounding. This is a great addition as the Nets are bottom 9 in points in the paint allowed. This would definitely help that issue in Philadelphia. Most importantly the 76ers get Cam Johnson who is averaging 18.8 points per game this season. This gives Philly variety in return for Embiid. This also balances out there lineup and Johnson and Claxton will be way more reliable. They of course get picks in return which could be valuable as Brooklyn has struggled as of late. They also swap promising young player in Ricky Council for a nice player who hasn't proved himself in Maxwe…

Why Kings do this: The Kings just traded Fox at the deadline meaning they are going in a new direction. They got LaVine at the deadline and they picked up DeRozan in free agency. Sabonis is being shopped meaning they should trade some depth pieces to help balance the roster. Valanciunas has struggled and hasn't showed his full potential since arriving in Sacramento. They get Hachimura who is a good stationary shooter, they get Vanderbilt who is a defensive star, and a athletic finisher, and they get a rookie in Knecht who is a good off screen shooter and it helps them prepare for there future. This gives Sacramento much needed depth that the Kings struggled with before. They get good wings plus Monk is on a pretty big contract clearing a big chunk of cap room leaving them with over 20 million (fanspo). They recently drafted Devin Carter and they still have Keon Ellis who has been great for the Kings the last couple of years.

Why Lakers do this: The Lakers are currently sitting at 4th …

Why the Suns do this: The Suns are currently the 11th seed in the west as of 4/3/25 and are a game out of the play-in tournament. The big 3 of Booker, Durant, and Beal already seemed to fail. Phoenix notably got swept last year vs Minnesota and might not even make the play-in this year. The Suns also have 3 players making 49 million or more. Bradley Beal has had his worst year in his career this year only averaging 16.9 points. For the first time in his career he has been a 'bench' player with is interrupting the Sun's chances at contention. Beal is making 53 million then 57 million which the Suns clearly don't want to give him that as they've been shopping him for a while. In return the Suns get Lauri Markkanen who is a solid player and has proven himself the last couple for seasons. He is a tall and lengthy forward that the Suns could use. Markkanen's height, scoring ability, and offensive versatility fills in gaps in this underwhelming Suns team. The Suns also get a future 2nd round…

Why come up with this? The Lakers need a center currently as their depth chart is thin just including Christian Koloko and Jaxson Hayes and DFS is labeled backup center on ESPN. That's a problem considering the talent in the western conference at the center position. It contains Jokic, Sengun, AD, Sabonis, Gobert, and other solid centers like Draymond. Hayes obviously doesn't compare to any of those but he has been solid since the Luka trade. Jalen Smith is a solid backup center but he isn't a starter but he can bring good depth. Jarred Vanderbilt is making 10 million per year just to average 3 points. Vanderbilt is a very solid defensive talent but isn't great on the scoring side. Smith is a solid rim protector, he is a good rebounder as he is averaging 5.5 rebounds this year off the bench.

Why the Bulls do this: The Bulls have a bottom 6 defensive rating and Jalen Smith is more of an offensive center than he is defensive. Vanderbilt is known for his defensive and is a solid player a…

REMEMBER THIS IS LAST OFFSEASON!! TY JEROME WASN'T AS GOOD YET!!!

Why Wizards Do This: The Wizards in real life got Bub Carrington and Malcolm Brogdon… not bad not bad but not great. Avdija as of late has been looking like an all-star. The Wizards get a struggling Isaac Okoro who seems like he hasn't found his groove in Cleveland. They also get a solid young backup point guard in Ty Jerome (REMEMBER HE WASN'T A 6MOY CANDITATE AT THE TIME). The Wizards also get a pick out of this. This trade gives the Wizards more depth and balances out there roster.

Why Cavs Do This: The Cavs came off a 2nd round defeat to the 1 seeded Boston Celtics. They proved they need a wing player and a starting caliber small forward on there team. Isaac Okoro is obviously not the answer. Avdija is a solid starting forward and would fit great alongs side Mitchell, Garland, Mobley, and Allen. This centers out there roster making them contenders in the near future. Also the Cavs have Sam Merrill as there backup…

Why Timberwolves would do this: The Wolves don't look like contenders this and I don't think they will be along if they have Rudy Gobert. Sabonis is a better play in my opinion and is still pretty good defensively. He is better offensively and can pass the ball pretty good. Edwards, Randle, and Sabonis would be a pretty solid big 3 in Minnesota. Despite them having to give up a decent amount of picks this helps them go win now for the next couple of years.

Why Kings do this: They already have LaVine, Monk, DeRozan and they don't need another scorer. The Kings could a DPOY candidate. This would really balance out the Kings roster. The Kings are just in the center for there defensive rating and this can really boost it. They already have some nice scorers and they have some depth in Ellis and Valincunas. They also picked LaRavia at the deadline. They are currently sitting at the 9th seed in the west. They get picks in the future helping them fuel there future….

What Changes: Luka Doncic stays with Dallas or they get a better offer elsewhere like the Luka to New Orleans one I made and that means they can't trade AD for Luka. If they wanted or had to trade AD for whatever reason this is a trade I'd do.

Why Lakers do it: The Lakers get two nice players in Michael Porter Jr and Aaron Gordon. But that's not the they would do it, they get four valuable picks in my opinion. They also get rid of the Gabe Vincent contract creating some flexibility. They could also swap Gordon and/or Porter Jr. for a nice player or even an all-star level talent. They also get rid of an expiring contract in Prince. AD is getting up there in age and is very injury prone as of late. The Lakers also need to start prepping for the future as LeBron is going to retire sooner or later.

Why Nuggets do it: Michael Porter Jr. is holding them back from another title run. He is a selfish player and his assist numbers show it. Aaron Gordon will be hard to let go but yeah AD is way…

Why Grizzlies would do this: The Grizzlies have just fired there head coach Taylor Jenkins despite being the 5th seed. This will ruin team chemistry and there will be problems coming and I can feel it. They get a young Herb Jones, a star in Dejounte Murray who would be a good replacement and they get Antonio Reeves. The Grizzlies aren't going to win it this year and this Ja era will be unsuccessful if they don't win this year. They had so many opportunities and they failed every time. They lost to a mid 7th seeded Lakers team and the future champs in Golden State. They also collapsed last year and missed the playoffs completely.

Why Pelicans would do this: I get the Pelicans suck this year but don't forget they made the playoffs last year… they have hope. They still got Zion who has improved his conditioning, a future all-star in Trey Murphy, and CJ McCollum. Murray has had injury issues this year and they have been without a point guard. Ja Morant is a top 10 player in this league …

https://hoopshype.com/2023/11/29/pistons-turned-down-trade-offer-of-two-first-round-picks-for-bojan-bogdanovic-last-season/

I find this really interesting… the team who offered this is unknown but the team that makes the most sense would be Milwaukee. They were the 1st seed the year this trade was offered. They just fell short off the finals and we're eliminated in the 1st round vs the 8 seeded Miami Heat. The Bucks had a promising Core of Middleton, Giannis who struggled with injuries and they have Jrue Holiday. Detroit had a lot of salary cap and they could have gotten someone like Grayson Allen or evening a bad contract like Pat Connaughton. Monty Williams thought they could make a playoff push but well they didn't even win 15 games. The Pistons that season then traded him and a solid Alec Burks for just Quentin Grimes and NO FIRST ROUND PICKS!!…

Why Mavericks do this: Luka Doncic is a top 3 player in the NBA as of this moment. He wasn't injured and just led his team to the finals. However we have dumb brain Nico Harrison who was born with brain damage decided to trade Luka for AD and Max Christie… yeah that's it. The Mavs also get a future DPOY in Dyson Daniels who is amazing and they also get nice young future in Herbert Jones and Trey Murphy. Brandon Ingram an all-star is also headed to the Mavs in the deal. The Mavs also get more than 1 pick in the deal plus they still get Quentin Grimes in the offseason. They get rid of a bad contract in Tim Hardaway Jr. at the time as well. This would be much much better for the Mavericks.

Why Pelicans do this: The Pelicans get Luka… yeah one of the best and you can consider him the best player of the league when healthy. He gets to team up with Zion and McCollum. They also still have Valanciunas and they get PJ Washington as a part of the deal. They keep Jordan Hawkins and still hav…

Why Timberwolves do this: They won't but its just for fun and that's the point of my content but if I had to give reasons why they would here is why: Devin Vassell is a very solid player and so is Stephon Castle is currently sitting at 1st in rookie of the year voting. They also get a nice defensive wing in Champagnie. The Wolves aren't close to contention IMO because they seem like they're stuck at mediocracy. I get it they made the WCF a year ago but they traded a key piece in KAT. Gobert has struggled but Randle is only pretty good in 2K. This trade gives the Timberwolves depth and some decent pieces to help them move forward. They also get a good amount of picks. They also get the Spurs pick this year and well we all know the Spurs get good lottery luck.

Why the Spurs do this: The Spurs have Wemby. He is a young generational talent and can have so many young years in his career. The Spurs have picked up Fox at the deadline and still have nice young talent in Keldon Johnson and the…
