Alright so here are my thoughts, separated by some pros and cons.
Pros:
Much needed organization to Fanspo
Mocks are how I really got into Fanspo, so limited mocks = more focus on one mock, more focus = more support, more support = more new users to Fanspo. (Hopefully)
The committee is made up of users that are trustworthy and cool overall
Less unnecessary amount of mocks
Only best users and mocks get picked
More advertisement to one specific mock
Cons:
(Here we go, there is a lot)
Restrictions and feeling very limited and controlled
Rules are complicated and a little bit hard to understand
Less popular losers will most likely be shut out
Popular users will be consistently winning, which will take away from others
Freedom of mocks and mock choice at an all time low
Voting dilemma: Bias and more bias
Stressful (most likely stressful to manage as part of the committee)
Quite frankly, kind of corny how we have to set rules to mocks on a basketball website

OVERALL: I personally think it’s unnecessary, but it doesn’t hurt as much as i made it seem. I understand where everyone is coming from, and why this could be “important” but overall its very constricting and overwhelming. I guess I have to see how this all pans out, anything I missed?
I DO NOT MEAN THIS TO HATE, IF I CAME OFF THIS WAY I APOLOGIZE AND ITS JUST MY HONEST OPINION
