30: Utah Jazz

I just don't see this team going anywhere, honestly, and the Lauri contract isn't too great.

29: Washington Wizards

I think Washington has a lot of bright future, but they are a long term project.

28: Brooklyn Nets

I think 28-30 are very interchangeable, but in my opinion the Nets, if they resign Cam Thomas, won't be the absolute worst.

27: New Orleans Pelicans

I think they could be a play in team at best, BUT Zion playing is a big if and Dejounte and Jordan Poole isn't the best fit, although they could definitely jump higher.

26: Charlotte Hornets

I hate to do this, they could also be a play in team but I don't know man Lamelo could be healthy and we are still waiting on his playoff debut.

25: Phoenix Suns

I don't know man, they could MAYBE be a playoff team, but I think it takes a year to adjust.

24: Toronto Raptors

This team is so promising man, they could be a 7 seed at the highest, BUT I don't know how they will perform with the fit.

23: Miami Heat

This team is better after the Norm Powell trade, BUT let's think about this. They are not doing anything in the playoffs if they make it. The Play in is where they will probably end up.

22: Sacramento Kings

This team is just so MID. They are the definition of a 7-9 seed. They are a dark horse to make the playoffs in my opinion.

21: Portland Trail Blazers

Very confusing. On one hand, they could be a 6 seed and make noise in the playoffs. On the other, they miss the playoffs or lose in the play in. I'm very excited to see them play though.

20: Indiana Pacers

Halis down, but this team is making the playoffs in my opinion. Will Andrew Nembhard step up? Probably. My pick for Most Improved Player.

19: Chicago Bulls

I am genuinely so excited to see them play. The young core of Giddey and White is great, but I like Patrick Williams too and this is my sleeper team in the East.

18: Memphis Grizzlies

Very solid team, but I only see them doing a little better than last year's 8 seed exit.

17: Philadelphia 76ers

They could be very good, but injuries happen and that means that they could either be a 5 seed or a 12 seed. If everyone stays healthy and VJ proves himself, this team is looking good.

16: Boston Celtics

Crazy how much the Tatum effect happens. I still have them as my 7 seed but once Tatum comes back don't expect anything different from 2021-2024

15: Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis has so much pressure on him. "He can't win without a superstar blah blah". This is his chance to shut everyone down.

14: San Antonio Spurs

Wemby is gonna absolutely dominate. Expect a DPOY and an All NBA 2nd team. I just don't know if they can compete in the west YET

13: Golden State Warriors

How much longer will Steph be Steph? I don't know and they didn't make a free agency move, that could impact.

12: Dallas Mavericks

They got Coop, so I don't know anymore. They could contend, but I don't think they will contend yet. AD stays healthy and this team is insane.

11: Detroit Pistons

This could go down as a bad take for me, because they could be the 3 seed in the East. I have them at 5, but it's a big maybe at this point if they can capitalize.

10: LA Clippers

I think this team is very good, but they are so old and injury prone that I am confused where to rank them. I'm gonna play it safe and have them as a 5 seed that could make noise and potentially go to the 2nd round or WCF.

9: Atlanta Hawks

Very excited to see them in action, Trae can relax knowing he has the best team since his crazy 2021 ECF run and this team could return there or even further.

8: LA Lakers

These guys got better at center, extended Luka, and I have them as the 4 seed. Very high hopes for them in the playoffs and maybe can try to get LeBron his 5th.

7: Orlando Magic

This team only got better. The sky's the limit, and if they can figure their 3 pointers, they are a ECF contender.

6: Minnesota Timberwolves

It's Anthony Edwards time. This man is gonna dominate the league. 1st team all NBA is a big possibility and I see this team being a 3 or 4 seed and returning to the WCF MAYBE.

5: Denver Nuggets

Jokics game isn't stopping, and he has a great team around him in Jamal, Gordon, CJ, and that team is DEEP. (My West Winner pick 🤫)

4: New York Knicks

Very promising, how they will perform is up to Towns and JB. These guys have potential to be a Finals team.

3: Cleveland Cavaliers

Very solid team, very solid coaching, but in order to win the championship, you can't stay "very solid". They need everyone to step up in order for it to happen.

2: Houston Rockets

Them and Atlanta had the best offseasons, with them acquiring Kevin Durant and lemme say, I like the move, and they keep Sengun and Amen. Expect them to be the 2 seed out west.

1: OKC Thunder

No debate, the champions, will they go back to back, I don't know, but I think they are the team to beat.
