I’ve been messing around with the Dallas Mavericks in the trade finder, and Jordan Clarkson has stood out to me as a guy who could make sense for Dallas. Adding his shot creation to their second unit would make Dallas even more dangerous, and it wouldn’t cost them an arm and a leg to trade for him. They can realistically match the salary with Maxi Kleber’s contract plus another player (Dwight Powell is one that comes to mind), and they have a first round pick this year that they are able to trade straight up. With that all in mind, do you think Clarkson makes sense as a trade target for Dallas, or should they look in another direction?

This is all assuming Utah would even want to trade Clarkson, to which I am unsure of what their stance will be.
