It's that time of the year, time to very potentially very sloppily announced awards that you MIGHT put in your bio.
Starting with the Text Post Of The Year, this was actually a very close race. Throughout the duration of the poll, it was between Lakersfan's FanSpo wishlist and Ballin's dating advice (first one was nominated more). Jagsandpels' Blazers fan PSA was well in third, and unfortunately for him it stayed that way. However, at the last second, the FanSpo Wishlist came out on top!

He shortened it and asked me to put that on this post instead. I happily declined.
Moving on from that we have the Trade Of The Year. This was a runaway from the start. While I personally voted for guru's trade for sending Brogdon to the Knicks, JHavoc's trade sending Simons to the Magic won in a landslide. Unfortunately he is no longer active so I could not get his input on this trade, but we move along.
The next award is for Mock of the Year. Last year, the poll was a dead tie, with SchlenkSystem pulling out the win in my RNG tiebreaker. This year was a bit controversial. There's a small chance I forgot the Dual mock, I will take full accountability for that. So I gave it a chance asking if you wanted to vote for it and I linked a poll in the description. However, no offense, 75% of the users on this site have the cognitive thinking ability of a squirrel, so they didn't see it.
In the end, BiGGJoRD (I'm so proud of myself for getting the capitalization right first try) won the award. Unfortunately he also quit, so we move along again.
Going to Rookie Of The Year, this one was a runaway from the start. Ballin got 21%, but KumingaTheBest ran away with 78% of the vote (which only equals to 99% of the vote, why do they keep doing this?) and won his first award. Always a good starting point (no MVP has ever won rookie of the year)
His words: "I’d like just like to say how I appreciate all the support from everyone on Fanspo. I obviously wouldn’t have won the award without them. Let’s get that MVP next year!"
After that we have 6th Man Of The Year. This was a 3-man race throughout. From the start it was Jagsandpels' award to lose. By the time of the poll he was already Top 50, and the comments showed a lot of support. For the majority of the poll, TotemsOnTop was trailing about a vote behind, with FoxFanNotMan in a dark horse candidate position. It then became tied, and Totems never looked back. He won by 1 vote, both of them could've won.
His words: "Thank you everyone for voting me this year, everyone who read my articles really inspired me to continue on this incredible journey. I hope to continue on with articles and I hope you will continue to support me throughout this journey. Thank you Fanspo."
The final award I haven't announced is the MVP award. Last year I might have pulled off the biggest upset in award history (awards had been going on for 2 years at the time) and beat Atto, Shooter, Waynoe, and SchlenkSystem in a poll where I should've theoretically gotten last. This year, the competition I had (I was nominated again) was Atto who had a lot to prove after everyone turned on him last year (you had to be there to understand what I'm talking about), along with KumingaTheBest who had joined 7 months ago at the time of the poll. Lakersfan123, trailing in a distant 4th. And despite me voting against myself for a 2nd year in a row, I won.
"Everbody wanted to know what I would do if I didn't win..." nah but in all seriousness thank you for voting for me. I am now definitively the greatest FanSpo user ever, no one else has 2 MVPs. I didn't make the rules. This was an incredible year for me, and the entire community in general.
