Ahem, as some of you might know, I had a poll between whether 150 followers or 150 in gm score first. The results ended up being followers, but I promised a special post once I hit one of the milestones, so regarding that I have this very special post. Skip to the line below if you don’t want to read my rant.
I was going to originally thank all 150 followers for some reason, but that would take ages and I don’t know much of them at all, so praise and compliments will be hard to give to people I don’t know, so instead I am blessing y’all with this. In 2023, I joined Fanspo, it was thriving and really at the end of its prime. It was shortly after the nba offseason, so things were really getting started. Lots has changed since then, but that’s a whole different post, I remember Stephcurrysalt was my first follower, and it all happened because I commented on a roster post of his.
It was a warriors roster post for some mock lakeshowszn, and I commented “Y’all so small tho” not knowing what the point of a roster post was. It was dumb looking back, the comment and all, but looking back it was funny how clueless I was. Stephcurrysalt enlightened me with what the mock was and that resulted in me joining as the Portland Trail Blazers.
Even though I was trash at mocks, I shortly thereafter decided to make my own mock. The TSB mock. With help from a few guys (can’t remember whom, my apologies) the mock maxed out people and really put me on the map. BigJjord ended up winning as the Suns, I do remember that, but this post was more than the mock it was my “debut” so to say on Fanspo.
So, in honor of it almost being two whole years and me reaching 150 followers, I am bringing it back, with a twist!

Rules:
Each participant will pick a team, with updated rosters around halfway through June (undecided atm) but the rosters will get a little twist. One player will be traded to another team in exchange for some other player, one player will swap skill set, animations and attributes with another player on your team, and one random player on each team will be boosted to 99 ovr. For example, if you are LA Lakers, let’s say Luka gets traded to Boston for Luka Garza, Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent switch overalls, and Jordan Goodwin gets boosted to a 99. Apart from FA, those will be big roster changes.
BUT BEFORE TRADES CAN BE MADE, rosters need to be announced, and we will do a bidding process for remaining free agents by 7/16. So if someone is a FA, you can bid for them. Rosters out on 7/15 btw, just made up my mind.
SALARY CAP IS OFF, so bidding won’t matter cap wise, but a rule will be in place to make sure you can’t get the best players in FA.
After the roster announcements (with boosts, trades, swaps and such) and the FA bidding from 7/16 - 7/18, trades will be able to get made. Stepien, cap and 30-60-90 are all off, so use to your advantage. Each team needs to make 1 trade before the deadline or else you will spin the wheel of dis fortune. Dun dun dunnnnn.
Before we talk about the wheels, let’s talk about the sim. On 7/22 I will sim to the deadline, where you will have free reign to make trades. BUT, before I continue simming, each team will either get a charm, or a curse, which will randomly be decided by the wheel. Whether it’s force lose games, injure a player, trade a player, overall decrease, take away the best attribute or maybe, they get something good. But never the less your team will be completely different from the start of the mock to the end.
Last up, I will resume summing and go to the playoffs, which will play out like normal. Then, I will cast a vote to see if y’all want to do season 2. So who’s in! ( help me get this to top of trending, trying to revive Fanspo with some big mocks)
