I voted contenders, then thought to myself, they have a horrible record vs teams ranked higher than them, I’m gonna say pretenders

Until they can prove they can win against the Cavs or C’s, rule them out in a sweep

If the Knicks can barely beat the rockets without Fred (which they’ve been awful without because he’s the only real pg) without sengun (all star haven’t won without) and a big rotational piece in Jabari only missing OG (who I know helps a lot but not more than Fred and sengun) and Robinson (who plays 1/2 the minutes as Jabari) there’s no way they are contenders
