add a solid 3 and D wing to come off the bench and help them compete in the west.

  • Why the heat accept

get a decent haul of picks for butler while acquiring a replacement in Beal. Beal replaces Butler in the starting lineup and allows them to remain competitive. In addition to Beal, they acquire 4 second round picks, the young, high potential rookie Ryan Dunn, and the suns 2031 unprotected first round pick.

  • Why the suns accept

Go all in with KD, Booker, and Butler. Resign Butler and extend KD(likely based on recent report) and make a play for the title for the next two plus seasons. Highsmith takes on Oneals role, and the suns hope landale can replicate his past success in Pheonix. Also decreases future cap by 6 mil this year and 8 mil on top of that the next two years(since Landale is non guaranteed the next two seasons)

  • Why the Wizards Accept

the most obvious yes here in my opinion. take on an extra 6 mil a year for the next 1.5 seasons and get a significant upgrade in Nurkic from Holmes, and get a second rounder for their troubles.
