Why OKC accepts

Getting a player of the Jokers caliber to pair with SGA, Jdub, Chet, and Jokic gives OKC an absolute superteam not seen since the Durant warriors. I think OKC would gladly give up their haul of picks for Jokic. Getting a Player like Jokic is while keeping the young core in tact, no matter how many picks it costs, is a no brainer for OKC in my opinion….

3 separate trades all with contenders to move rotational players for assets. Kyle Lowry is cut so he can go to whatever contender wants him and Justin Edwards is signed to a regular rookie deal. Fultz is signed as a flier and gives him a chance to rebuild his career.

Sixers shut Joel down for the season and heavily rest PG(who should be available for trade if they can find a partner) to maximize odds of a top 6 selection in the draft since they cannot reacquire the full rights to their 25 first rounder. Offseason they have two options: Trade Joel and PG and rebuild around young players or use increased assets to try and get one last run with Joel and PG.

Why Sixers accept Gives them full control over 25 and 26 firsts to begin a future rebuild. Follow up moves are to trade PG and role players for any picks they can get.

Why Thunder accept Perfect trade for OKC in my opinion. Great win now move to finish out rotation for playoffs this year, and get a valuable 28 unprotected clips first that spreads out their future picks and times out well for them when they will likely be a second apron team.

Why the nets accept Hard to see them getting a better package than this for Johnson. Topic becomes part of future core and acquire 4 future picks as well. Team gets worse to tank for top pick in 25 draft….

Why the suns accept

Go all in with KD, Booker, and Butler. Resign Butler and extend KD(likely based on recent report) and make a play for the title for the next two plus seasons. Highsmith takes on Oneals role, and the suns hope landale can replicate his past success in Pheonix. Also decreases future cap by 6 mil this year and 8 mil on top of that the next two years(since Landale is non guaranteed the next two seasons)
